Returns & Refunds Policy

Please be aware of the following before you ask for a return/refund:

• Photos of the product were taken to give you the best representation of what you ordered. Our photos are not doctored in any way to mislead you, the customer, from what you will be receiving. With that in mind, please be aware that color and display settings differ on different devices. This means that the color of the product may or may not look slightly different in person.

• All our products are currently handmade. This means that some stitching holes, cut lines, stitching lines, seams, etc. may not be "perfect". Although I pride myself in giving you the best crafted items that I can, sometimes minor imperfections show up in the work. Consider it a bonus that it was actually hand-crafted with care.

• All leather is different, even when shipped from the tannery. No hide is the same and the hides themselves may have slight blemishes, brand marks, stretch lines, and color variations. These are natural and will not affect the strength of the product. I will not use a piece of leather that would weaken the overall product.

If you would still like to reach out to us about doing a return, please email me at frostedowlleather@gmail.com. If the return is accepted by meeting the conditions below, you will be responsible (at your expense) to return the product to me, properly packaged and insured.

Conditions for returns:

In order for the goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

• The product(s) was purchased in the last 30 days

• The product(s) are in the same condition as you received them

• The product(s) cannot have any stains, rips, tears, or other physical damage (including water damage)

The goods cannot be returned if:

• The product was made to your specifications or clearly personalized

• The product was misused or not used for the intended purpose

• The product was clearly damaged by the customer (cut, ripped, stained, etc.)

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.

Holiday and Special Event Orders:

If the product(s) was marked as a gift (eg. a Christmas Present or Anniversary) when purchased, you will have 30 days from that date to start the return process. Once we receive the product and the return is approved (again, at our discretion), you will be issued a refund.

The refund may only be issued to the original purchaser, and they must fulfill the return process.

Shipping Policy

All products will be shipped at the customers expense.

I will do my best to get you the most accurate shipping quote. I am testing an integrated shipping tool to get the most up to date costs.

For shipments outside Canada, international regulatory frameworks specify that duty, VAT, and administrative tariffs assessed by border customs agencies remain the responsibility of the recipient. For orders to the U.S.A, personal leather accessories under $800 USD are currently exempt from import tariffs under US de minimis provisions. Orders exceeding threshold values or delivered to Europe and the UK will incur local value-added taxes upon customs entry. All other locations must contact me directly so that I can try and relay the correct information.

If you have any questions regarding shipping, please reach out to me directly. I will do my best to get you current and up to date information regarding tarriffs, duties, import fees, etc. Please note, I currently do not cover these fees, especially with the ever changing trade disputes and negotiations between countries.
